We got back from Hawaii on Thursday night. The flight was rough for Phoebe. She is cutting about 5 teeth right now and she pretty much cried for a majority of it. Challenging. I just kept telling myself my own advice of not stressing if your baby is flipping out on a flight.
The girls were wide awake when we got home at midnight and then slept until nearly noon on Friday! I have been having a rough time adjusting back to Pacific Time. Does anyone have any jet lag advice?
Friday night we decided to get out of the house. It feels good being back in San Francisco.
Ella took this family shot on our walk.
This is a new restaurant Glaze on Fillmore and Pine. I was really impressed. It has a really relaxed and friendly vibe. They also have a great kids option. Protein and rice bowl for 5 bucks. The girls had rice and salmon. You just cannot beat feeding a family of 5 for $28 total.
I talked to the owner, Ian, and he said it has been going really well since they opened. I like how it looks inside and there is a patio out back that has these funky prints up on the walls too.
Phoebe just stands in high chairs now.
She worked for about 10 minutes to learn how to use her chop sticks. She ate the whole meal with them!
Of course there was a frozen yogurt trip after dinner.
A pretty house from our walk home.
I read some of your trip posts and loved them! I really want to go on a long vacation now, haha !! Vacations with family and friends are pleasurable memories that last forever! Thanks for sharing yours.
Thanks for following along and your tips about the barracuda! That really helped me get back in the water.
