OMG

There has been a sentence I have had to restrain from posting on social media for a few weeks for fear of sounding crazy.

OMG OMG OMG THERE IS A TARGET OPENING RIGHT ON MY SCHOOL ROUTE DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA HOW MUCH EASIER THIS IS GOING TO MAKE MY LIFE?!!!!!!!

Well there it is.

For a while now Steve and I would have to go to three different locations for food, sundries and household items. Do you know what it’s like loading three kids in and out of the car three times? To even go to a Target I would either have to take a highway during rush hour or go all the way south of Market to the Target there which has no parking lot.

Today I was able to get the girls from school, swing by the new Target where there was ample parking, buy dog food, cat food, halloween decorations, dish soap, yogurt, 2 new bras (my boobs are shrinking by the way, woo hoo), some clothes for Chloe and a new shower curtain. We were home by 5.

I am ALL for shopping local, shopping small, I have a whole section of my site dedicated to local artists and businesses. There is always concern that when these big mega stores go in it will have detrimental affects on small business in the area, but this mama was getting tired, very tired of driving all over the place and looking for parking.

Because I was so excited running out the door to go to Target, I forgot my phone and have no pictures of our afternoon, but here is a shot of our new shower curtain.

The new Target is located on Geary and Masonic. They have a good selection of most things you would expect to find there. Their kids clothing section is a bit dinky however and they do not carry children’s shoes. Per the girls the toy section is pretty epic though.
