TGIF

We had plans to get a babysitter and go out Friday. These plans changed and it turned into Steve working late and me home with the dog and 3 kids.

I was feeling a little bummed over this. I love my kids and all, but every once in a while a night out is just mandatory.

Well instead of wallowing in the terribleness of it all, making Mac N Cheese and Facebooking my way through a Friday night, I decided to take the girls out to dinner.

Somehow it turned out great! Complaining was minimal, we made it through a whole dinner at a nice restaurant with everyone enjoying themselves, and I learned some sort of lesson in relaxed urban parenting.

    • It does help to be able to just walk. I think if I had to have loaded them in and out of a car it would have been a whole different night.
