He came down to the city of hills, he was looking for home
He came down with a purpose he wanted to serve.
They stood there all laughing, what could just one man do
But he showed them something, and he changed the world.
He met his sweet princess, and professed his love
You’ll carry my sons, and what a life we will have.
He came down to the city of hills and it was never the same
He had those four boys who carry his name.
His purpose to help, it never ended
His kindness to others, an inspiration to all.
And now he has left us, to go start anew
Let’s just take a moment to honor his life.
He came down to the city of hills, he was looking for home
He came down to the city and it was never then same.
Farewell our sweet prince
You’re here in our hearts
We’re proud of your legacy
And glad that you lived.
