Eating My Own Blog Post

You see this picture here? Can’t you tell how annoyed I am while taking it? We had just arrived at a park down by the baseball stadium to kill some time before attending a family fest at Room&Board last Sunday. Steve told me he needed to go check on something and then DISAPPEARED. Great, we have just so much family time and here I am by myself at the park chasing Phoebe who refuses to wear her shoes even through the rubber ground cover is baking hot.

Just as I was about to break into a number of text messages asking where he had gone (like a crazy lady who calls or texts over and over) he showed up. He whispered to me, “I went and verified that the Giants Ballpark Kid Area is open. Let’s surprise the girls!”

Nice. I don’t feel bad at all now about having a mini-inner temper tantrum.

I got over it quickly because going into the Giants stadium on a Sunday morning when practically no one else is there is amazing.

They open the large Coke bottle slide and T-ball area for free play when the Giants are out of town. For full info about times and location click here.

We had so much fun not waiting in line and getting to ride as many times as we wanted.

  1. Good times. I’ve had a meltdown or two of my own at that playground. What camera do you use? Your photos are gawjus!
