Friends and Cioppino

What happens when a French woman, a Canadian and an East Coaster come to visit the Latch Family in San Francisco?

I’ll show you.

Our dear friends (who have known me since I was 16!) came to visit a two weeks ago. Steve and I had so much fun showing them around San Francisco and the Bay area. I have so many photos to share from all our adventures.

On their first night we went out to North Beach for some crab cioppino at Sotto Mare. Have you ever had cioppino? It’s an Italian seafood stew and once you have had it, you will start to dream about the chance to eat it again. They make their own fish broth at Sotto Mare with the fresh caught fish of the day, so it always tastes a little different every time you go.

Steve told everyone what they were ordering, but the ladies slipped in their own requests too.

After dinner we walked over to the Buena Vista for a little Irish Coffee.

I will be sharing the rest of the photos from our trip over the next few days. Hopefully they inspire you to come visit us! We love showing off our town.
