My hopes for a laid back holiday season came to fruition this year. Sadly I have packed on some pounds but thankfully the bank account has only been drained a little. We were able to get the girls everything on their Christmas lists while still having enough set-asides left over to host Christmas Dinner. Everything can really add up around the Holidays so I am happy with how it all worked out.
Here are some shots from gatherings over the past few weeks.
Connie Latch is my lovely mother-in-law. She is holding my youngest niece.
Steve’s son Erin.
We had a cookie making party and gift exchange with two of Ella’s friends. I felt like I was sweating sugar by the end of the day.
I didn’t get as many pictures of Christmas Eve and Christmas Morning as I should have. I knew I would regret it later, but I just wanted to experience the day without taking many pictures.
While I did random Christmas Day duties, the kids played Chinese checkers with their grandma, great-aunt and cousin.
We bought Ella a gymnastics bar. She has been on it non-stop since Christmas morning. You can see a little clip of her doing flips in the video below!
I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and I wish you all the best in the New Year.
So lovely! It’s a nice example of how to celebrate a holiday–taking time with people you love. The video is gorgeous!
Thank you Margie! I hope you had a great time with your family.
Wonderful! Miss you tons!
We miss you too!! xoxo
