I have been staying over in Sausalito for the past two weeks with my father-in-law while his wife is out of town. I’ve been driving into the city and have been really missing my long walks I take every day to and from work. It’s 4 miles total and you really start to notice after two weeks of not walking the difference that makes
One afternoon I went back to my apartment because I had a few hours before I needed to pick up the kids from school.
I was sitting on my ass scanning through Twitter when I saw a tweet, “If you are feeling down, set the timer for 30 minutes and get something you have been meaning to do done.” (Not the exact words, but you get the idea.)
Well we all know where I often fall behind. Yep, cleaning my house.
So I set the timer for 45 minutes. Threw on my workout clothes and cleaned as fast as I could. I got a lot done and worked up a sweat. Good for my house. Good for my behind.
