SF Style File

Has your style changed since having children? Mine has become totally hit or miss. Some days I feel like I am totally on it, dressing well and completely resolved to wear make up, do my hair and look somewhat pulled together.

Like this:

This jacket. My husband worked on the Rebecca Minkoff store construction on Fillmore. This jacket was one of the perks of his hard work and I am deeply in love.

Other days I am just not in the mood. My hair doesn’t get washed, I wear crinkled chinos and there is not a speck of color on my face.

I was walking down the street the other day and saw these two women. Their hair was bouncy and they both looked so incredibly well rested. I wondered if they had children. I wondered what stage they were at in their lives. What kind of jobs did they have? How were they expected to present themselves for those jobs? I was also just staring at their shoes and hoping they would stop long enough for me to get the shot.

So let’s discuss this. How does style change over the years due to children, trends, jobs or lifestyle. How has your style changed or evolved? Are you still true to what you liked in your teens or 20s? Does your job impact how you dress? I would love to hear your thoughts!
